Eventually expanding the scope to enable artist/song information for consumer products such as Apple iPod and Microsoft Zune, informing millions of consumers about radio playlist activity.

Orcas Island, of the Pacific Northwest's San Juan Islands, is the home of Allen's "Metadata Laboratory". A hub for a global community of colleagues, friends and family who have contributed to the many product development efforts over the years.  Allen, his wife Liberte plus an assortment of forest creatures live on Mt. Constitution, overlooking Eastsound, WA and British Columbia in the distance.

Yes, his home is essentially, an FM radio transmitter site.
